Most days I find myself smiling about some small thing in my life. I'm not talking about the big things...salvation, Jesus, my family. I'm more interested in chronicling things that may seem insignificant, silly, or incredibly shallow. I'm planning to add one of these small things each day (or each day that's CONVENIENT. One of my current pleasures is that there are very few things I HAVE to do every day!)
My favorite thing of the day is "Losing my waIllet." I'm not being sarcastic. I lost my wallet in Windsor last night, managed to get back across the border, and immediately cancelled my bank card. The part that made me smile is that when I checked back with security in Windsor, my wallet had been turned in, complete with all cash, checks, ID, card....everything I would have been spending weeks to replace. If I hadn't lost my wallet, I wouldn't have the chance for the big smile of getting it back! Hey, everyone should cancel and re-order their bank card once in a while, shouldn't they?
